Sunlight is the healthiest source of light. On a square meter basis, skylights admit far more light and distribute light much more evenly than a vertical window simply because they face directly toward the sky. This caused popularity of skylights in modern architecture.
Smoke removal hatches on steel frames are suited for flat or sloped roofs. The main task of these hatches is to remove smoke and high temperatures in case of fire.
The hatches can be opened for up to 90 degrees. Additionally they’re used as the mean of ventilation. We offer dome-shaped hatches, manufactured from galvanized steel frame and double or triple dome, made of acryl, polyester, polycarbonate or polycarbonate panel.
The hatch is attached to the frame using hinges. The frame is manufactured from zinced tin and heat isolating materials. The main components of the hatch are:

3. Steel wing frame;
4. Traverse of the wing;
5. Traverse of the base;
6. Lifting mechanism;
7. Lifting mechanism mounting parts;
8. Regulator of the lifting mechanism;
9. Steel base;
10. Temperature isolators for the base;
11. Intermediate;
12. Sole of the base. Base of the hatch:
The base is manufactured from PVC or 1-2 mm zinced tin. Standard height of the base is 30 cm, and the sole is about 10 mm in height, mounted on the roof. Thermal isolation materials are about 20 mm in thick. Optionally we can install:
• 40 mm thermal isolation;
• painting according to RAL palette;
• defensive bars;
• non-standard frames and hatches. |
